Electric cars appeared and competed with petrol cars even in the beginning of the 20th century. It is a pleasure for us to present the only one in Europe and one of the five in the world Rauch & Lang electric car built in 1918.
In the end of 2012 this car was brought to Lithuania by Augustinas Yankyavichus, a constant participant of American Spirit. Augustinas is well known for a perfectly restored Ford A of 1930.
Restoration of Rauch & Lang was finished in 2014. All parts are genuine. The car body is made of wood. The completely charged battery allows to drive for 100 km. 96 V, 2.5 kW engine allows the car to reach the speed of 30 km/h.
For the first time Augustinas will present Rauch & Lang to the public at American Spirit 2014. Welcome to the premiere!
