“Last Engine Songs” returns to the American Spirit 2026 programme in Druskininkai! It is one of those events where curiosity, excitement, laughter, applause and real mechanical drama all come together.

Specially selected cars will take on the ultimate test of endurance. Their engines will keep running until they sing their final note. The audience’s task is simple: guess how long they will last.

Will it be just a few minutes? Or will one of the engines surprise everyone and keep fighting much longer?

🚗 “ME AND MY CAR” – PRESENTED BY DETAIL TECH STUDIO VILNIUS! 🏆

This competition is for those who see their car or motorcycle as more than just a means of transport. It is part of your character, creativity and lifestyle!

🗓️ On Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, participants are invited to gather near the stage.

Registration will take place on a first-come, first-served basis. Simply arrive, get ready and present yourself and your vehicle to the audience!

🚗 Participants are invited to present their car or motorcycle in the most creative way possible. Clothing, personal style, team image, the story behind the vehicle, a stage performance or an unexpected introduction — anything can become your strongest advantage!

We will evaluate not only the beauty of the vehicle, but also the overall impression: how well the car or motorcycle, the crew, clothing, atmosphere and creative concept work together.

🎁 This year’s competition is presented by Detail Tech Studio Vilnius, which has prepared prizes with a total value of €1,250!

🥇 1st place prize – services worth €700:

• Three-stage car body polishing. Up to 95% of paint defects and minor scratches are removed, restoring the bodywork to an almost perfect condition and achieving maximum shine and colour depth.

• Professional ceramic nano coating with protection lasting up to one year. A protective hydrophobic layer is created to reduce the adhesion of dirt and other contaminants, make vehicle maintenance easier and help the bodywork stay clean and glossy for longer.

• Full interior deep cleaning. All interior surfaces are thoroughly cleaned, accumulated dirt and stains are removed, and the appearance of the interior is refreshed.

🥈 2nd place prize – services worth €400:

• Two-stage car body polishing. Up to 85% of paint defects and minor scratches are removed, restoring deep shine and colour depth.

• Professional ceramic nano coating with protection lasting up to one year. A protective hydrophobic layer is created to reduce the adhesion of dirt and other contaminants, make vehicle maintenance easier and help the bodywork stay clean and glossy for longer.

🥉 3rd place prize – service worth €150:

• Full interior deep cleaning. All interior surfaces are thoroughly cleaned, accumulated dirt and stains are removed, and the appearance of the interior is refreshed.

• Appearance and clothing of the crew

Each category will be scored from 1 to 10 points.

It’s time to find out whose car audio system sounds the most powerful!

This year, the challenge is thrown down by well-known Lithuanian car audio enthusiast Vitoldas “Hell Boy” with his musical Chevrolet TrailBlazer. It will be a friendly, but seriously loud battle for the strongest sound and the biggest crowd reaction.

On Friday, July 31, 2026, at 21:00, we meet by the stage. Bring your sound, switch on your favorite mode, and show what your car audio system can do.

All participants will play the same music fragment, so the conditions will be equal for everyone. After that, it all comes down to the sound level, the crowd reaction, and the overall atmosphere.

It will be loud. It will be fun. It will be a real dB Battle.
The only question is — will there be any brave challengers who can beat Vitoldas “Hell Boy” and his musical TrailBlazer?

Join us on July 31, 2026, at 20:00 for an evening of good company, great atmosphere and delicious moments. The theme of the evening is inspired by the colors of the American flag: white, red and blue.

We invite you to dress in these colors and, if you wish, bring food or drinks to share with other participants. The color code applies only to your outfit and overall look — the food and drinks can be anything you would like to contribute to the shared table.

🐻 The teddy bears are back at “American Spirit”!

Over the years, plush teddy bears have become one of the funniest and most recognizable traditions of the festival. So this year, we invite you to bring them out of garages, back seats and trunks — and give them their moment in front of the crowd!

🎉 The Teddy Bear Parade will take place near the stage on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 18:00.

All participants are invited to bring their plush hero and think of a fun way to present it. Maybe your bear will arrive on the hood of a car? Maybe it will ride in the passenger seat? Or maybe it will be carried proudly like a true festival mascot?

🧸 Size doesn’t matter here — imagination, character and good vibes do.

🏅 The brightest, funniest or most originally presented bear will receive the title “Teddy Bear 2026”.

Don’t leave your plush friends at home — this year, the stage is waiting for them too!

The exhibition will showcase exceptional and impressive American vehicles selected by the organisers. This is a great opportunity to see legendary American cars up close, take photos, and enjoy the festive atmosphere in the very heart of Druskininkai.

During the event, more American Spirit participants will also be driving through the city streets. We invite you to welcome them, support the participants, and help create a truly special celebration of American automotive culture.

Attention, American Spirit participants!

From 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, an American car exhibition will take place in Druskininkai, along a section of Turistų Street and at the Druskonis Lake Amphitheatre.

Due to the limited exhibition space, only 50 vehicles will be able to take part. These vehicles will be selected by the organisers, and their owners will be informed separately.

All other participants are invited to accompany the exhibition vehicles to the event location, enjoy the festive atmosphere, and continue exploring the beauty of Druskininkai on a free-cruise basis.

REGULATIONS
PARTICIPATION PROCEDURE

All participants who wish to have their car or motorcycle evaluated may take part in the competition. Advance registration is not required.

Vehicles belonging to the organizers may be evaluated only outside the competition. They cannot be declared winners. The official list of organizers can be found here: americanspirit.lt/apie-mus

JURY EVALUATION

The vehicles are evaluated by an independent three-member jury. Each judge inspects different parts of the car or motorcycle, such as the engine bay, interior, or trunk, based on the evaluation criteria published in advance.

Each participant is allocated up to 5 minutes for inspection. The judges’ scores are added together, and the participant with the highest number of points becomes the winner of their category.

In the event of a tie, the decision is made by the jury by mutual agreement. The jury’s decisions are final and cannot be appealed.

The winners will be announced on Saturday, August 1, 2026, during the awards ceremony.

EVALUATION SCHEDULE

The jury will work in a specially prepared evaluation area:

Thursday, July 30, 2026: 16:00–18:00
Friday, July 31, 2026: 11:00–14:00
Saturday, August 1, 2026: 11:00–13:00

Evaluation will take place on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants choose their own arrival time and come to the evaluation area on their own initiative.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS

No more than 10 cars may wait in line near the evaluation area.

After the inspection, the participant must immediately leave the evaluation area.

Participants who do not arrive within the specified time will not be evaluated. The last evaluation starts on Saturday at 12:50.

We recommend arriving for evaluation earlier — on Thursday or Friday.

Each vehicle submitted for evaluation must have a clearly attached “American Spirit 2026” participant card with its registration number.

Best Oldies – cars produced from 1956 to 1985
Best Young – cars produced from 1986 to 2015
Best Modern – cars produced from 2016 to 2026
Best Muscle – 2-door, rear-wheel-drive V8 cars
Best Van – mini and full-size vans
Best Truck – pickup trucks
Best 4x4 – SUVs, excluding pickup trucks, including heavy off-road vehicles
Best Special Interest – exceptional service vehicles, such as police cars, military vehicles, buses, etc.
Best Cabrio – cars with a removable or opening roof
Best Rod – modified cars in the Hot Rod, Street Rod, and Rat Rod classes
Best Motorcycle – motorcycles
Best Sport – cars prepared for participation in motorsport competitions
Ugliest – cars that are far from perfect both technically and visually, but are charismatic and have a distinctive character
Project In Progress – cars undergoing restoration or modification
Best Pontiac – a category dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Pontiac
