In 2008, American Spirit took place as a meeting of American cars. Afterwards the owners of American motorcycles joined gradually. The title of event has changed to the International Meeting of Fans of the American Cars and Motorcycles. H.O.G. Vilnius Chapter Lithuania is an active participant of American Spirit for several years. Number of motorcycles is constantly increasing. But there still only a car in a logo. It was decided to create a new logo. The new logo reflects both the car and the motorcycle. We are very pleased to introduce a new logo of American Spirit. From now on the logo corresponds to the title of event-International meeting of fans of the American cars and motorcycles American Spirit.

We are very grateful to H.O.G. Vilnius Chapter Lithuania for provided support during creation of a new logo.

Car Stereo Competition

For the first time during the existence of American Spirit, we are going to elect “the best” audio system. On 8 August, Friday evening, we are going to find out who has the most powerful stereo system among the arrived participants.
This year, the winner will be the participant whose stereo system reaches the highest decibel (Db) rate. During evaluation, a sound power meter will be placed on the car’s front panel. The measurement will be performed with fully closed car’s doors and windows.

The prize, a car audio system speakers Alpine, founded CJSC Rekija.

Car Stereo Competition, Slow Drag and Exhaust Competition will take place on 8 August at 6:00 p.m. It is not necessary to register in advance to participate.

“Best Of Show” Online Voting 2014

Today, „Best Of Show“ online voting starts. Special photo gallery with the opportunity to evaluate participant is activated. Also Facebook gallery of candidates is activated (FB voting start july 30). Click the “like’ button and cast your vote to the chosen participant. The winner will be elected by summing up the results of both galleries. The voting ends on 5 August, 24:00. Vote and be active! Vote here

Swap zone (Flea Market)

Dear participants and guests, we invite you to participate in the flea market. If you have items of car, motorcycle, American theme and want to offer them for sale, please bring them! On Saturday, 9 August, we will provide the flea market participants with the separate territory. The flea market is intended for natural persons, the fee for trade is not applied.
The companies that want to trade within the event territory shall contact event organizers and agree on the suite of products. The fee is not applied, but charitable contribution will be appreciated.

We are glad to receive support from Harley-Davidson fans. For this day, 70 members of Harley Davidson Owners Group have registered to participate in American Spirit meeting. The members of H.O.G Vilnius chapter Lithuania together with H.O.G members from Latvia, Poland and Belorussia are going to come to the meeting.

Official representative of Harley-Davidson in Lithuania is also going to participate in the meeting. Harley-Davidson Vilnius team is waiting for you in the representatives’ tent.

American Spirit thanks H.O.G Vilnius chapter Lithuania and Harley-Davidson Vilnius for meeting idea support and music evenings presented to the participants of the meeting.

100th anniversary of Dodge.

In 1900, the brothers Horace Elgin Dodge and John Francis Dodge created a company Dodge Brothers. In the beginning, the company was known as a manufacturer of spare parts, however, in 1914, the company produced its first car.  In 1914, Dodge became a car manufacturer; therefore we celebrate its 100th anniversary this year. Dodge company has produced a lot of cars that became a real legends. We invite the owners and fans of Dodge to celebrate its glorious 100th anniversary.

A special exhibition place will be given to Dodge participating in American Spirit meeting of 2014. On the occasion of the anniversary the category Best Of Show Dodge-100 will be announced, we are going to choose the best of the gathered ones.

The owners of Dodge registered until 27 July will get anniversary badges. We will try to make special anniversary stickers for every participating Dodge.
We are going to particularly note the most beautifully exhibited Dodge. We hope that the owners of Dodge gather and decorate the exhibition of their “beloved horses”. 50th anniversary of Ford Mustang.

On 17 April 1964, Ford Mustang that later became a legend was presented to the audience. Thereafter six Ford Mustang generations saw the world. We invite the owners and fans of Mustang to celebrate its glorious 50th anniversary.

A special exhibition place will be given to Ford Mustang participating in American Spirit meeting of 2014. On the occasion of the anniversary the category Best Of Show Mustang-50 will be announced, we are going to choose the best of the gathered ones.

Why is it important to register before July 27?

By the end of the main registration (by July 27) you will be able to register on the day of the event and during the additional registration (July 27 – August 3)

NOTA BENE! Those, who registered during the main registration receive:

• Meet numerical name sticker
• Meet "Welcome pack" of stickers and souvenirs
• Certificate of a participant
• Filled card of a participant

IMPORTANT:

• Only those, who registered before July 27 can vote at Best Of Show. Every registered person receives a sheet with special stickers used for voting.
• Only those, who registered before July 27 participate in Best Of Show online voting.
• Special badges designed for the fiftieth anniversary of Mustang and the centenary of Dodge will be made according to the main registration results`.
• It is important to notice that by registering during the main registration you help the organizers so that they have more time for other cares.

Those who register during the additional registration (July 27 – August 3) are guaranteed to get a rally numerical sticker, a card of a participant and a certificate. Those who register on the day of the event are guaranteed to get only a rally numerical sticker.

American Spirit party 2014

One of the main goals of the American Spirit meet is the fellowship of associates. For this purpose, specially for the meet participants there will be opened a tent for musical parties held two nights in a row.

On Friday Breaze rock'n'blues band will perform. They will sing their own songs and songs of world rock history golden collection as well. Konstantin Baskayev, one of the group members is a "Long distance rider" who supports the rally idea.

And on Saturday we will have a specially formed “HOG band” music group whose members are Harley Davidson enthusiasts. And Jonas Vasilyavichyus, the group vocalist is well-known on the Lithuanian rock scene.

We express deep gratitude to "H.O.G Vilnius Chapter Lithuania", because due to their efforts the musical tent of friends will operate..
