One of the more exciting event for the participants of American Spirit 2021 will be „Poker Run“ on Friday.

“Poker Run” is an orienteering ride with elements of Poker game. At the start the participants shall receive a list with rules and addresses, these addresses shall contain points, at some points participants will draw one card and will complete tasks. After the finish, the organisers will calculate the card combinations collected according to the rules of Poker. The best combination shall win. Also the additional points shall be collected for completed tasks. The game is not complicated, but exciting and fun. Participants do not need special equipment. It is enough to have a regular GPS navigator and/or a smartphone and to use the navigation installed on the smartphone and take photos. Although the Poker run is optional, we do recommend the participants to take the opportunity to gamble and visit interesting places of seaside and lagoon.

The number of participants is limited to 20 crews of cars and 5 groups of motorcycle in the Poker Run. Those wishing to participate in the Poker Run shall indicate this during the registration. If the maximum number of crews and groups will not form during the registration, it will be possible to join to the Poker Run on the day of the event.

This year, 30 July, on Friday, we will pay a special attention to Šventoji City. Lovers of American technics will entertain the holidaymakers and residents of Šventoji from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. There will be an exhibition at Jūros Street. Everyone will be greeted by an exclusive exposition of technics: an entertainment for participants and spectators.

Do you know how long takes to “kill” the engine?

This year we are ready to find out it with the participants of American Spirit 2021. We have two cars which oils and fluids will be drained. We will start the cars and let them run until the engines stop. The participants of American Spirit may predict how long and which car engine will last. The most accurate predictor will be awarded.

Last “song” of engine will take part on Friday, 30 July, the first day of American Spirit 2021 at 7 p.m.

A car holds a special place in people’s lives – for some of us it is only a means of transportation, while others see it as an integral part of their live, a hobby, means of work, their prized possession or a way to spend free time. In some cases, a car can become a place to live.

We invite you to participate in “Me and My Car” competition and show us the strong bond between you and your car. We will evaluate your creativity, elegance and artistry.

The competition will take place on 31 July 2021 (Saturday) from 2 PM to 4 PM at Šventosios g. 31, Palanga.

When registering at the place of event we request you to inform us that you are planning to participate in “Me and My Car” competition.

The participants of the competition will be invited to present themselves. The jury will evaluate the participants by giving the scores. If more than one participant has the same score, the winner will be selected by the spectators of the competition on a first come, first served basis. The winner will be announced at approximately 7:30 PM (after the Best of Show awards). The winners will receive exceptional prizes!

Evaluation criteria:

The whole look/exceptionality of the car/motorcycle: 1-10 points

The look, clothes of the team: 1-10 points

How the team’s style matches the style of the car: 1-10 points

During American Spirit meeting, the best cars/motorcycles will be elected.

 

Judgement order:

- Best of show international committee will judge the registered participants of AMERICAN SPIRITI 2021 with event participant’s number.

BEST OF THE BEST ELECTION:

 

BEST OF THE BEST: a car/motorcycle is elected from the winners of all categories. The election starts after the winners were announced and awarded. The best of the best will be elected by the spectators of the competition on a first come, first served basis.

CARS:

BEST OLDIES – the cars made before 1950.
BEST MUSCLE – 2-door, rear-wheel drive, V8 engoine. For example, GTO, Mustangs, Roadrunners, Chevelles, Camaros, and Firebirds.
BEST VAN – mini, full size van.

BEST TRUCK – SUVs, pickup trucks, heavy-duty vehicles and other off-road cars and the cars designed for work.

BEST CABRIO – car body type with opening or removable roof and rear windshield.

BEST SHOW CAR – special cars, Low rider, Paint or the cars designed specially for performances.

BEST CUSTOM – modifies, redesigned cars.

BEST STOCK – original, factory fitted cars.

BEST HOT ROD – the cars modified for higher speeds, faster acceleration or for sportier look. Street Rod and Rat Rod cars are also included into this category.
